had another idea to sort it...
announce one single month when nobody gets ANY benefit payments. Obviously, give plenty of notice so that people can prepare THEMSELVES to look after THEMSELVES rather than the government having to provide for them. It will only be for one month so nobody will die and by giving notice people can put a little aside to cope, or find a small job to see them through.
Sorted, short, sharp, shock...no more national debt. Genius or what?
