I was searching for youtube videos of selhurst park tours, so I could try to see what row the pillars are on, so I can then choose decent seats when the Palace tickets go on sale soon.

Anyway found this video and at 2.00 minutes in, they enter the away dressing room and they have a shirt from all of the other premier league teams hanging up on the player pegs. Well 18 of them, with one notable exception

Arsenal used to do this, as per many others.

A good way of getting the tourists in for tours, selling the Premier League experience rather than just a Palace one and getting a picture with "their" team's shirt.

In a pile of football shirts
In the corridor into the Amex that is used by oppo players when they arrive at the ground, hanging on the wall, there is a framed shirt of every team we played in our first PL season, including a Palace shirt.

Do Palace have a steaming turd on the changing room floor to keep it authentic?

When I did the tour last the same corridor was full of cables, laundry bags and crates of potatoes, according to the tour guide it’s the same on match days, even as a small margin of adverse against their arrival they think its an advantage!

The 1970s just called, and can they have their ground back.

And I thought the Goldstone was a tip........

I'm glad our shirt isn't hanging up in there. Why would we want it to be??

There is nothing about that stadium tour that gives any indication Palace have spent 11 straight seasons in the Premier League.

At times you are reminded of the Goldstone, at times the Withdean, but the whole thing feels Championship level - it's QPR, it's Norwich, it's Watford, it's just 'meh'.

Every season they finish in the range 10th - 15th. They've been running to stand still.

Seeing that Stadium of Stasis just makes me appreciate Bloom, Barber and his board even more. We are truly blessed.

There is another of these Selhurst Park tour videos knocking around on YouTube and it shows The Albion shirt having been dumped in the bin.

Albion & England forever.
