[Food] Brighton's Best Burger Joint?

I've never had a joint and a burger rolled into one. So to speak

IF I fancied both at the same time, I'd probably stay at home, although I can vaguely recall a repetitive cycle of one after the other, returning from a gig in Brixton many decades ago . .

WTF did that come from ?

(Although I do remember a similar repetitive issue being a problem for a football team on tour, trying to move across Amsterdam some years ago )

I'm not sure. . . . . Joint is for, well . . .joint . . .or carpentry, if you'r that way inclined!

burgers are takeaway, septic fast food shit with maybe a plastic chair or two in some, not proper dining . . . . . .

I never associate the two words together. . . Maybe that its . . . . Or the shrooms I had on my burger when I got the munchies . . .

Uncle Sams, for me, still remain the best budget burgers.

Huge shout out for Smoque Grill in Islingword Road. Very highly rated for many years. I think I had my first meal from there in 2005. Gone upmarket since, and very good.

Got my fix at Uncle Sams, good burger.

You'll need a time machine and a steadfast belief that the Grubbs on St. James St. was the best in the city for this particular suggestion but...the Grubbs on St. James St.

Can't argue with this, it has gone now and the one in Hove is not the same, gone a bit continental.
I lived in Kemp Town for years and had more than my fair share of Grubbs.
