The US already has incredibly low energy prices. An excellent article in the DT today (do you subscribe?) on how its been a cornerstone of their economic success, whilst UK/EU has stagnated. So, there’s your coping strategy right there, stick what you can afford in US funds and let the Don pay off your mortgage, only Jedi status imbeciles would plough their hard earned here or the EU. When those that pull economic strings agree the EU and to some extent the U.K. is a lame duck, you know the gig is up.

My blood pressure rises at the sound and sight of him, his entourage and 'experts' analysing his latest destructive / mad ideas.

My coping strategy is to avoid news and current affairs and listen to Radios 3, 3 Unwind and 6.

Same here, everytime i hear him on any media platform, he sounds like he's performing a nursery rhyme to whatever bollox is ensuing from his trap.

I avoid talking to my American colleagues. They all think he’s the best thing since Oreo Milkshakes.

I also like to remember that golf won’t be going away whilst he remains President of the US, and that makes me happy, even when he’s actively trying to ruin the planet and attack innocent people through culture wars. It’s the little wins, I guess.

He seems to be doing fine (in his own head). It’s the rest of us who need the coping strategies.
