Perfectly relaxed about seeing Labour in power again, a spell of competent, focused leadership will stand in marked contrast to the total shambles we have now. But, here in Mid Sussex it’s a tough call as to who to vote for in order to ensure the dreadful Kristy Adams doesn’t win the seat for Tories again (the current MP Mims Davies is scampering off to a safer seat for the second time). Latest polling has all three major parties neck and neck - somewhat surprising to see Labour doing so well here but perhaps indicative of the general desire for change.

Been voting since 1979, and have never voted for a winning MP.

With Labour shift to the right, I still might not.

All depends on where you live with our wonderful voting system. There are quite a few constituencies where Lib Dems have an outside chance of taking a Tory seat with Labour a distant third. Horsham, for example.

I feel the way Corbyn was thrown under the bus regarding Palestine was disgraceful especially as now (IMO) he’s been proved right.

With the predictable landslide for Labour and the Cons self-destructing faster than a mission impossible cassette,, I feel there’s some breathing space to get the green agenda back on the table. Unfortunately the chances of a Green candidate standing in my neck of the woods (UKIP/Reform, Con stronghold) is remote to none - Returning a Labour MP to Parliament also very remote here but as long as Liz Truss doesn’t hold on to her seat.

Your surprised at Greens being as high as 10% in this poll? I’d have thought they’d be higher given that Brighton has had a Green MP for years.

Whoever voted for SNP needs to have a long hard look at themselves. A disgusting party who have ripped Scotland in two while simultaneously overseeing the distraction of our public services and bringing the appalling Scottish greens into government.

As pointed out, the current representative of the People's Republic of Brighton and Hove is green so this may affect a poll on a Brighton and Hove Albion website
