I went there the other day and perused their "clearance stock", and they were STILL more expensive than HMV for games and DVD's. King Kong for £7.99 - oooh, someone hold me back.

Went in there today, so many good offers. I.D was £1.99, it was only after queing up for 5 minutes ready to purchase it, i realised it was a '18' .

Also, there's loads of Motown/Tamla & Northern Soul CD's in there for like £3/5.....Brilliant stuff.

When the MVC/Music Club thing went bust a couple of years back, they made the mistake of re-opening after Xmas and not accepting their own vouchers. Punters in Brighton, opposite the Quadrant pub, threatening to walk out with goods to the value of the vouchers had the police called. They came and did - precisely nothing. Said it wasn't their concern. There was a thread about it on here. I'd suggest you do the same. Hand them their voucher (maybe photograph it first or something to prove its yours) and do to walk out with goods to the value of.

I read somewhere that you have to contact the administrators and register as a creditor if you have vouchers purchased before November 27th 2008.

EXACTLY. Whats the point of a massive "clearance sale" when they're still charging over the odds for most of their stuff ? Useless bastards, no wonder they're going under.

The Churchill Square branch also appeared to have stocked up on enough Friends boxsets to accurately recreate a 1:1 scale model of the HMS Ark Royal.
