All these posts smack of some worried fans thinking they mightn't make the play-offs and using Bobby as a scapegoat.

The post I found funny was the guy who asked who the last striker they were happy with - he mentions Kitson as being a moody sicknote. Sounds like we should have listened to him!

Doesn't sound vaguely like Bobby, these were possibly two of his strongest attributes, I think he needed another season in the first div (ideally with us, so that he could become truly comfortable at the level).

Part of the reason he adapted sp quickly with us was that he was used to the service and the players he got here. Elsewhere, he has had to learn all this anew as well as cope with the standard. As Kinkygerbil has said, at Prem level he looked slow and uninspired ... Come back!
