Milner for me - Terry and Upson were excellent and James had a commanding confidence inspiring game

Gerrard and Milner for me. Lampard was also excellent - I think it was the 79th minute before I spotted a misplaced pass of his, and that was because of a lack of options.

But I think Milner.

Millner, ran his bollocks off...exactly the sort of performance we expect and demand from an England player.

Terry was superb. Actually threw his head at one effort. Milner was good too.

MOTM = Milner - but also honourable mentions for Defoe, Terry, Johnson and Upson

Its nice to be able to say we had several players putting in good performances.

Upson good too. Rooney really needs to pull his fuckin finger out though.

could have been quite a few, but i'd say Milner, closely followed by John Terry. Have to say, Barry was poor!

Gerrard held his position on the left, kept going all match, linked up well with Rooney. A good captain's performance I thought.
