Admittedly it only says COULD at the moment, but there are still a few good names playing.

Gus Poyet could be heading to The Polegrove to play in Bexhill United’s glamour end-of-season football friendly.

The current Brighton & Hove Albion manager, pictured, and assistant Mauricio Taricco are among 11 names announced so far to represent the “Brighton & Hove Albion Ex-Pros & Guests XI” against Bexhill on Wednesday April 18.

Also lined-up to play are former Albion talents Guy Butters, Richard Carpenter, Gary Hart, Kerry Mayo, Charlie Oatway, Paul Rogers and Paul Watson, plus Alan Sanders (joint managing director of Albion in the Community) and Luke Williams (the club’s development squad coach).

An auction is being run for someone to manage the Brighton team for the evening - a prize which will include delivering a team-talk in the changing rooms - and two people to play a half each for the Seagulls.

Anybody wishing to place a bid should contact Tracy Aston on 07791 368049 or email tracyaston21@aol.com. The highest bid for both roles currently stands at £150.

The match will kick-off at 7.30pm and gates will open at 5pm. Admission is £5 for adults and £2 for children. Tickets will be available on the night, but they can be purchased in advance from Aston and the club itself.

Im guessing it would be in Bexhill and the club would post something nearer the time ?

Might go along to that if it goes ahead.

It's at the Polegrove in Bexhill but I don't believe the club would necessarily advertise it, like they don't advertise every time a player goes to a local school for example.
