Hmmm...not convinced. Seems rather contrived.

Anyway, I watched Adaptation last night, with Nicolas Cage. Well, I don't mean Nicolas Cage came round and watched it with me, I mean he starred in it. With Meryl Streep.

It was good.

What did you think was good about it? I thought it was contrived and self indulgent. I couldn't get on with Nicolas Cage either, mainly because I knew who wrote the screenplay.

I mean it wasn't awful, it just left me cold and wondering why the f*** I'd bothered to watch it.

I think I am going to be a big girl and rent out The Family Man with Nicholas Cage. It is a bit soppy but I think it will suit the mood perfectly, candlelight, M&S sticky Chicken, Chilled Chardonay, Nicholas Cage being a girls blouse, how can I possibly fail.
