I completely forgot about McShane. Butters, Cullip, Virgo, Morgan, Ingimarsson, Hinshelwood, Elphick, Lynch and McShane. What a great bunch of centre halves

yes, Lynch in the wide left midfield/wingback role. Reid gets the nod for what he could/should have done had injury not been so cruel.

You don't SERIOUSLY think that Sullivan is better than Roberts, and Robinson was better than Brooker, surely?

Zamora and Knight would have been crap together.

Little and large. Zamora seems to be a team player more and more now and we all know Knight had pace and could finish them off from some hard work by somebody else.

to be honest with you , probably not - both Roberts and Henderson are stronger possibilities then Sully , granted and the Brooker / Robinson , yeah

kind've got lazy when it came to subs I guess..

This list makes me realise, we've only really had two proper right backs during our time at Withdean!

Watson and Whing. Inbetween them(nearly 4 years!) we had a collection of stand in's from other positions like Reid and Hart. I wonder if RB was our least covered position in the last 10 years.

How ANYONE can put Cullip, Virgo or Butters above McShane and Ingimarsson is BEYOND me. I can only assume they are idiots...

It must be remembered that in 2003-04, that Bristol City game aside, we had a mean defence at home and Cullip/Butters/Virgo all contributed to that alongside Roberts.
