The only reason they own that club is their access to banks (J P Morgan - same lender for ESL) providing a loan securitised by the club. Saddle the club, pay yourself huge consultancy fees.

They may be taking UK salaries too, not sure, as other than the highest paid director (usually the CEO eg Woodward), for other directors the numbers aren’t disclosed.

In ManU’s last accounts they paid £6.8m in emoluments to directors, £3.1m of which went to Woodward.
