Isn't it sad how the first club subjected to this rule is a club which these rules didn't go out in search of punishing?

No they didn't, they went in to administration on 28th September. They had gained 4 points before going in to administration. Even though they were out of it quickly they took the deduction on the chin.

Before their defeat on Saturday they had been on the bit of a run. After getting a 0-0 draw at Crawley they had beaten Burton Albion, Forest Green Rovers and Canvey Island.
