I have just checked the ESPN soccer net website which states that it is live on ESPN Classic

Erm, those links are all for game cast, which is a text commentary stream, there is a pitch that they use to show where shots are taken from, but it isn't video of the game. You get them for every game.

The list with the brighton game on is the fixture list.

Im guessing that you are thinking about the match with Blackburn Rovers, also a 2-1 win, later on in the season. That was shown on 'The Big Match Revisited' a couple of years ago.
