I'd love it if we went up - providing thy let us stay at Withdean. the sight of some of those premiership primadonnas changing in a portakabin and running out at Withdean would be worth it alone. Not to mention the amount of money we'd make.

£30 million should help you make your minds up?

palace now have a squad of internatinals who should be able to get palace back up if they were to drop.

plus if palace did not go up we would have had to sell players like johnson to balance the books now he's on a new five year contract

the premierships next new star Ivan Kaviedes

Maybe when he grows into his kit he'll be a star.

Didn't Charlton get promoted and relegated about 3 times before they finally managed to stay in the Prem? But while they were yo-yoing they weren't over spending on the playing side and built up quite a healthy cash balance. Then, when they had a side that could hold their own in the division, they were able to spend some of that without putting themselves into massive debt.

This money (£30M) is what every team gets from Sky. If you just decide to play with the same side then it's like free money. Sure, you'll have the players on higher wages - but that shouldn't take up all of it. What's left could be our down-payment on Falmer.

McGhee has said that this team won't really be fully effective for at least 18 months - so if we treat the Prem as a sort of finishing school, they should come out of it with real confidence that they can get back in and stay there next time.

So yes, I'd definitely take a season in the prem - even if we were relegated by New Year.
