1. He's from Spain
2. His surname apparently means 'Sword'
3. He used to play for Cadiz, but is that good that Cadiz Seagull has never heard of him
4. Tommyboy wants to nail him.
5. He scored against Charlton in the week, but then so so did Wycombe.

Need to know more?

His name is Iban Espadas, or something like that. Haven't heard of him either, I am sure that someone will come up with the usual comments of having signed him on CM06, FIFA wannabee manager or some other footy related computer game, and he banged in goals for fun when they signed him for Lewes, Crawley or Billingham Synthonia...

Actually, funny you should say that .... I've never signed him on CM06, but I will certainly be sending a scout out to watch him when I get home.

I'm sure he'll feel at home at Withdean. He's played in one of these stadiums without roofs that are impossible to create an atmosphere in before:

No roof = no atmosphere

For a stadium that had very little roof the noise was pretty impressive, mind you their voices didn't have to carry across a running track to reach the players.

True, but even if we made a quarter of that noise (or colour) it would improve Withdean so much. In that clip they had just been relegated BTW. Bit different to our game against Stoke last year in the same circumstances, isn't it?
