Worthing football club 1978/79.....

Brighton factually.....
I was just looking through some of my old football programmes and picked up a Worthing programme from 1978/79 season it was a FA vase game against Brading town. I must have gone and dont recall a thing about it,but i was just flipping the pages and having a swift scan and on the first page it had a list of First team honours etc and a list of the president / vice presidents etc and...................

Are these the same Blooms ? have they a history of jumping clubs ?

no history of jumping clubs, just one of supporting Brighton and Worthing

Yes Harry Bloom the same one as was vice chairman for Brighton under Mike Bamber and Ray Bloom who is now our director and Uncle of Tony Bloom. Also my husband Bruce Aitken scored his first goal for Worthing in this game and it ended 2-0!
