I've always found that to be rather agreeable. It's not great but it is drinkable lager at a good price.

XXXX is bland and pointless, Hurlimans (sp) is the original wife beater, but Carling is the worst, just nasty chemical muck. 2 pints for the eviliest of hangovers

All mass-produced lagers: Skol, Carling, XXXX, Fosters etc - they all taste like chemical slops. They freeze them to take the awful taste away.

The worst offenders are the American versions: Budweiser (what a travesty of a great Czech beer), Coors, Millers etc. Searching for a decent drink in the US is one hell of a task.
