Put out ageing mince pies and peanuts for the robin, blue tits and blackbirds in my garden yesterday. As they started to get a much neede bit of grub, down came the magpies, crows and seagulls and hoofed the lit luns out of it. B******s!

I think at this time of year we should also spare a thought for all the Blue Tits on the nudist beach.

We always at this time of year come away from town loaded down with nearly as much bird food as food for the bloody cats
