At perhaps an average of £20/ticket, that's an additional £8m. Jesus.

Most, if not all will go on the higher costs of running our place. I can't imagine the upkeep of London Road is much more than your average 3 bed semi

I like that we adhere to the second part of the 'lower of 10% or 2,000' away allocation rule, not out of spite but because we can fill the rest of that rather magnificent stadium we now call home.

Watford's attendances are pathetic. 13k for a team that's third in the second tier?

Watford are no different to us. They've had massive gates in the past but their fans no longer turn up. People won't pay for run down facilities any more. When we were last at this level in 1991, we didn't even average 10k as the Goldstone was crumbling.

Build Watford a stadium like ours and they too will draw well over 20,000 a game.
