I remember going to see this in late 1986 at the Old ABC in East Street with a top bird who was then what we called 'bohemian' in those days, her dads coat, lots of black eye make up, spiked up hair and purple doc martens. We' call her a goth now I suppose. Donna someone? Those were the days only having to worry about a few lessons in sixth form the next day. Hurrah Ralph's on now!

Brilliant film - got it from Lovefilm a few weeks ago having not seen it in about 15 years! The missus had never seen it and didn't really get it.

I remember getting HAMMERED watching it with mates & having to take a slurp of beer every time someone in the film does.

I read an interview with Bruce Robinson who said that when he was writing it, he got so pissed sometimes that he had to type with his nose, rather than try to remember the idea later. I think he also said that he drank up to four bottles of red wine a day.
