Only people we send cards to are those friends and family that live overseas.

My mum's 'rule' was always that Christmas greetings cards should only to be send to loved ones that you can't / won't be seeing at Christmas time. If you will be seeing people over Christmas anyway - why send a card? I think this seems sensible.

On this basis, I shall be sending cards to my mum and dad and my 3 big sisters, but not to my next-door neighbours.

Christmas Cards just piss everyone off and serve no purpose..

they piss off the following people:

1) The sender: hassle to write, hassle buying stamps, hassle walking to the post box.

2) The postman: shorely the worst time of the year to be a postie

3) The receiver: hassle putting the up, hassle throwing them out and the added hasle of having to send one back! (see sender)

I propose that people just keep a selection of cards at home, get em out with the rest of the decorations and put them up to get that festive feel about the place.

Am I right or am I right??
