After he's admitted that he left for homesickness in January following the insane run of injurys he had if you were Gus what would you do? He's under contract for another year would you sell or see if you could get the best out of him next season?

No sorry I am not buying that. I understand why depression can be a problem for touring cricketers, living in hotels for nine months a year, but this is not on the same scale. Either way the best way forward is for Hoskins to find a club closer to what he views as home.

Or to find a home closer to 'work'
