Awful being?

Micky Adams or Peter Taylor or Steve Coppell or Mark McGhee?

In terms of being proactive in the transfer market = fcuking awful

Hello! Reality Check time! We don't have the money to be pro-active in Dorking Farmer's Market, let alone the transfer market.

It may have slipped your notice but we are SKINT. Until the stadium issue is resolved we are always going to be waiting until the last minute for any signings-be that managers or players. Until the stadium issue has been sorted there is NOBODY willing to put money into the club.

What do you you want DK to do-put the club into a worse position than the one that led to us being in this financial position in the first place?

No matter when the contracts are sorted out I don't think Bertin will commit to us. I'd like to think he will but it doesn't seem that way. He has another year at Le Havre.

Agree about Wilkins but we don't have the cash for players unless they're free and very cheap (wages wise).

That could change if we get an early YES from Ruth....

When the rest of the football world bows to the inevitable and gets a salary cap, BHA will be there, ahead of the curve, saying 'Been there -- done that'.

As Yorkie says we took over his contract until the end of the season, he has another year at Le Harve and I would imagine DW will be doing all he can to get him for another season.

He may well come back into Le Harve's plans so we probably won't know until later in the summer.

The good thing is we seem to have a good relationship with Le Harve so if they don't want him we would hopefully get first refusal.
