We have a good squad. Vicente, Orlandi, Buckley are all player who can make somthing out of nothing and score goals. (note no strikers mentioned:lolol:) We are still to play Palace, Leicester, and Middlesbrough, all teams that if we beat we can hopefully leapfrog. What we need is consistency, too many draws have plagued our season. We have come far as a club- i remember losing 4-0 to crewe at home during the withdean years-anyone else? and now we can brush aside a decent Newcastle with ease. Poyet has led us far, and with the amex crowd roaring we will make the rest of the journey. So come on lads, get behind the players and cheer them all the way to the Premier League, where we truely belong and deserve to be. :amex:

We struggle against the top sides. To win the playoffs we'd have to beat 2 over 3 games. We'd have to massively buck our trend under Poyet of struggling against top sides in our division. The win against Hull is a start...

Needs a bit more than sentimentality I think. We're improving bit by bit, but still a way to go I'm afraid ... there's plenty of other good teams in this league too!

we will get there because....

bburn and mboro will get sending offs, tiredness, injuries, and pissed off by losing in massive Quarter Finals FA cup games.

all the other teams dont matter - they are either too far above or too far below.

it is ALL about Mboro and Bburn - we are in a mini league with 2 other teams.

Fortunately we would have to play fast attacking football which is not Mr Poyets style, so we can look ahead to continuing in the Championship next season with enough wins at home to keep our attendance totals level and enough cash in hand to buy an odd player or two without putting the club in any financial stress.

On paper we are as good as anyone and thats why its frustrating that its not played on paper. Sorry I expect more with the players we have but hey ho thats what its all about.

If we are attack minded for the rest of the season we will. If we are defensive we will not. Gus has said he will be more positive from now on so hopefully the former applies. Defensive, negative football is also boring to watch, irrespective how of how much possession we have.

Pork pie land.
Our ONLY chance is if we can get an effective, proven goal-scoring striker on loan to replace Hoskins.

If not, we will continue to be draw specialists, with defeats and the odd win thrown in for good measure.
