I’m disappointed De Zerbi didn’t have the balls to change Sanchez for Steele in extra time.

Steele had a great record stopping penalties, I don’t think Sanchez has ever saved one, so why not make the obvious swap?

Because it would be detrimental to RS's confidence/mindset going into the rest of the season?

I don’t believe that’s true, if you have a specialist, why would it ruin his confidence? He was picked to play in goal, it’s just that maybe Steele can read the strikers better, perhaps.

Also I may appear captain hindsight to you, but I did say the same during extra time that it would be a good idea to bring him on.
I also didn’t read the match day thread during or after the game.

Also, I would love to hear uncle Tony’s thoughts on it. I think his maths stats would agree.

But The reason for me posting the question was just to hear others opinions.

I have now, and will therefore hold my peace.

Btw, it was in no way a dig at Sanchez, I actually prefer him in goal (just not for penalties) I am also not a negative person and also do not blame Solly in the slightest, so those throwing these accusations at me can shhh.
