Why no left back on loan?

It strikes me that a large part of our problem has resulted from the rejigging of our defence as a result of not having a recognised left back to play there.

We have weakend the defence as a result of trying to accommodate a solution for this, so why haven't we got a left back in for a months loan? There must be someone out there who could have done a job? Have we even tried do you think?

I think slade is very warey of going down the path of last season and just bringing in constant short term loans, that said he may well be gone by the time a left back is fit again, so if i was him i'd bring one in and hope the results turn around

There is a curse on the Albion which does not allow us to have a good specialist LB. When we find one he gets injured and so it starts again

In the short term rather than move other players around I would have thought that he would have tried Livermore but apparaently he doesnt rate him at all as he is available for transfer.

Could give Mayo a week to week contract:lol:

Shame Borrowdale is playing for QPR first team.

Id have him back for a month or two.

Can we get the current Stockport left back in maybe? :)

Mayo has retired from football. Can't even play 30mins of friendly five a side without needing two days to recover.

He just might have been ironical

I wasn't sure if it was "he literally can't play anymore" ironic or "he was one we let go and took back last season, let's do that again, i.e. unaware he had retired" ironic.

I was assuming it was the latter.
