Why is searching disabled

It may be a fixtures... but i cannot search the forum to see if this has already been asked... Catch 22...

I want the apple/iphone thread... So why has searching been disabled.

Are you talking about the iPhone app that's called 'BHAFC News' and has an icon that looks like the head of a white seagull with a blue eye? I 'think' I lost this when my iPhone upgraded to ios6, now all I get is a black screen. I've looked everywhere but it's not on the app store and goggling it has no resulted in any hits. I emailed the iTunes store, but they sent back a standard reply which suggested I contacted the developer, which of course I cant, I may reply saying so, but it will probably be a waste of time.
