Whose got the Withdean Blues ?

I don't like Withdean, not a patch on the Goldstone. I don't like the atmosphere. I don't like sitting in the rain....

But I wouldn't be ANYWHERE else when the Albion are playing.

(And the food is better than at QPR).

Withdean is a depressing place in winter. Even in the North Stand where you pay extra for a roof, you'll get wet in the first 3 or 4 rows. I seldom feel enthusiastic about home games before kick off but that changes once the game starts.

Going to proper grounds, even a half empty Loftus Road makes it worse because I know it's still gonna be at least 3 years before we play at Falmer. That's presuming we get permission and the money can be found to build it and I don't think that's a foregone conclusion either.

God help us if we slip to mid table mediocrity in Div 2 next season. If we don't go up this season, I can see season ticket sales falling off and crowds of 3-4,000 becoming the norm.

Come on McGhee, make sure we get promoted, even if we do struggle at least we'll get enthusiatic again and keep the stadium full
