It has to be Poyet, sadly.
That's why he's paid the big bucks and given the big bucks to play with.

CMS, Crofts and Hammond and Greer. One scored a goal , the other 3 should have.

Poyet sent out a team that had opportunities they squandered and a fluke goal did for us. Not jumping on the slag Poyet off bandwagon

Gus - his spending in the 3 transfer windows since he's had a fantastic fees/wages budget.

1. Thought he was smart letting Noone go. "Everyone has their price". But he was simply better than LuaLua.

2. Failure to get a second striker.

3. Failure to get creative backup for the vast majority of games which Vicente misses.

Gus Poyet of course. He picked the team. It was loaded with negative players and only had one forward. How do you justify playing Hammond, Croft, Bridcutt together ? None of them noted for their scoring ability. Also does Hammond have more than one gear ? He looks so one paced and I'm afraid that is rather slow.
With Hoskins injured, Buckley ( apparently a little injured) why doesn't Toby or Barker get an opportunity. Surely as forwards they should get a chance when no one else in the team is capable of scoring.

Clearly if we're talking MOST responsible it's the strikers, or those to whom the chances are falling. They aren't scoring when they need to. And if they had, we'd definitely have beaten both Birmingham and Boro, and maybe Ipswich and Derby too.

Bad luck ( goal ) and poor finishing. We are a team that creates chances and eventually our luck will change,
