I thought it was quite nice when I went for a week 5 years ago but then I could have been blinded by the fact it was my first proper foreign holiday!

I have been there for business several times.We were supplying equipment for the HUGE new Hospital currently under construction.
I actually think it has more beds than there are people in Malta.
I like Malta, and it's people, very friendly and they like the English. Lots of Manure fans there. I personally wouldn't chose it for a Holiday though.
