I've only included the candidates I'm afraid. Sorry to disappoint.

I'm going for Andy Burnham by the way - Aspirational Socialism all the way.

So good aspirational socialists refer to the only female, only black candidate as "fat Diane" do they? I hate to think what the less enlightened refer to her as.

Shame John Smith passed away and let that tool Blair in, the rest as they say is history.

Totally agree.

Anyway out of the likely winners Ed Milliband would be my choice as he at least recognises the New Labour was part of the problem.

If David wins then they are truly f**ked and deservedly so.

I think my preference would be Ed Balls, but he'd get absolutely slaughtered by the press I'm afraid. The fact that he holds his own constituency by only 200 votes will also count against him.

Abbot might be a good appointment but I doubt she has much of a chance. Sadly, it'll be a Milliband and a return to smug, patronising leadership, sound bites, spin and nothing changing for the better of any real consequence if Labour do return to office.

Whatever the result it will be inconsequential for 15 years or so.

Swap aspirational with champagne, oh and he wont respond:thumbsup:

Yes Chicken Run I will respond, I generally do.

Diane Abbot is a pompous snob. The fact she is a woman and black doesn't bother me at all.

This

.... but it's not an inspiring choice.

I remember when Wilson resigned and the choice was Callaghan, Healey, Foot, Jenkins, Benn and Crosland. Now that was some field to choose from, every shade of red and some serious heavyweights.
