It was a 4 game ban for the red card and increased to 7 by the FA as further punishment.

The FA have formally said now that they are appealing the outcome, presumably they wanted a longer ban.

Now we’ve faced him twice, I’d prefer him to get a chance against teams like Manure (today), Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool & Spurs. His 6 month+ ban can start at the beginning of next season please.
