Really don't want to add to the rumour mill but was having a drink with a friend who is a community support officer who is helping with conference security and she said that they would be an announcement tomorrow (Monday).

Can't see it myself as allegedly each party will be written to first.

PRESCOTT SPEECH: DPM tells Conference: "I know many in this city want a new stadium. Can I say to them an announcement will be made by the end of this October"

That says to me that we'll hear something after the Conference.


Incidentally, I ran into a senior Tory Councillor (on B&H City Council) at the cricket today. He said, quite spontaneously, that any announcement during the Conference would be bound to be followed by an application for a Judicial Review.
