It seems that although "who is responsible" was the main part of the original question, it has not been answered, just innuendos made. Does anyone actually KNOW???

And we give them a cut of the gate - after stewarding expenses. That won't leave much for Kerry.

I am only guessing at the problems - but judging by the efforts in other events for his testimonial I should think the efforts have been unstinting.
