I'd like to see Peter Hammill do this (with Hugh Banton's organ taking the guitar part).
Or possibly 'O, Children' (Tobi would sing it an octave down - delicious).

Killers - Sympathy for the Devil. I’d love to see Brandon Flowers theatric take on that. Would have to have a video release too.

The Cash version of NIN’s Hurt is a good example of a cover which has more emotion than the original.
It is indeed, one of the examples that stands out as a superb cover version - there are, I'll admit, a few! After hearing the Johnny Cash singing it, I looked up the Nine Inch Nails version and gave it a listen. Awful!
Rolf Harris' version of Stairway to Heaven, on the other hand..........................
(a prime example of how bad a cover version can be)

I’m familiar with both versions but have to say Cash’s resonates more with me. It’s fantastic.

I'd like Paul McCartney's 'Wonderful Christmastime' to be covered by ... 10 tons of reinforced concrete!
