And, to be totally fair to the great man, he came on here straight after having been released by the club, saying that no matter what happened he would always love the club and its fans and wanted to say thanks for all the support. He did indeed get an extension later but he didn't plead for one on here: he'd always have too much class for that.
See that Leon, if you're still here? That's called "behaving with class". Should try it sometime.

Chappers for me. Albion LEGEND. My favourite Albion player ever, tied with John Byrne. I loved that guy, and managed to meet him in some shit club after REMF 1. He bought me 2 beers - one each for the goals I netted against Palace. He bleeds blue & white that fella (not literally obviously)
