It seems the knives are out for England and the gaffer after what on the face of it at least appears to be an embarrassing defeat at home to an Iceland side who finished 7 points behind Luxembourg in the qualifiers and with a population less than Cornwall.

So who if any would you back to do a better job than Southgate in the Euros?

We’re going to win it this time. Tonight means nothing.

After all the moaning for Southgate not picking players on form etc, he’s finally gone for it and made some genuinely bold decisions. Let’s get behind the Palace wanker.

I always vote for our Liz. She could organise anything properly. And woe betide you if you step out of line

He was born in Watford and played more games for Villa and Boro. This 'Palace' stuff baffles me.

Let's face it , most off the country have known that GS is a technically retarded coach who has troughed the FA's coffers for many years. He couldn't even pick an XI to beat a Farmfoods Select let alone Iceland. They should have jettisoned him at Christmas and put GP in charge. So bleeding obvious.
No urgency in attach, little midfield creativity and the goalkeeping?

Still looking forward to the Euros as we have so many Albion players participating......
