drive up the road a bit further . . .I stayed in the Beech House Hotel on the bank of Lake Windemere on Monday, great place, pool, fantastic restaurant, good wine list, and the Company paid shame I couldnt string it out for a few more days and take Mrs Zefarelly too

Struggled to get in the Metropole or the Excelsior, had to make do with 2 nights in the airport Travel Lodge. (The driver wanted to be sure his Roller was going to be in a secure car park)

It's near the Shovels pub which comes highyl rated by CAMRA so Superwife is pretty chuffed!
