following on from the other thread about browsers , lets have a poll to which one you use . you can only choose one browser and this would be the browser you use at home not for work or any other purposes apart from free time browsing .

i was on Firefox for ages but i switched to chrome about a year ago and i don't think i could go back , mainly because of the the speed .

Chrome mainly as I find it the fastest.

Oddly enough I opened up Safari because of the two threads and I actually think it's faster than Chrome (and that's on a Windows 7 PC). Think I will have a play with it.

Opera innit. I like all the fast navigation keys and mouse click stuff. Plus they always seem to come up with ideas like tabs/speeddial a year or so before IE/Firefox.

one question re the spell checker...if i spell a word wrong it underlines it, but doesnt give me an alternative spelling of the word.
how do i enable that?

It just shows you how browser market share has changed. 10 years ago it would have been Internet Explorer with around 95% and the small piece left would have said others lol. Only one person is using IE.

Being a web developer I use them all for cross browser compatibility... Firefox is my tool of choice outside of work however. I hate (and always have) anything IE, especially IE6/7 which are STILL generally used by the public sector!!

I use IE and FF in just about equal measures, probably just about prefer FF but the latest IE is also quite nice to use.

Chrome.

Don't get all the fuss over FireFox.
