Albion from the South Alas the Baggy shorts team went down the Leagues in the latter part of this decade. Portsmouth failed to survive 2010 and the sleeping giants Havant and Waterlooville Pompey are still finding their feet in the fourth tier. Alas, Palace went bust as well and the top team in south London is now Charlton Athletic. The moaners are complaining they can't get a ticket for Falmer and it is lucky that there is space for a new stadium to play the likes of

Charlton Athletic
Arsenal
Manchester U
Liverpool
Celtic
Rangers
Bristol United
Sheffield (? whether teams from Yorkshire should be allowed after the County declared UDI?)
Ipswich City
Edinburgh
Nottingham Forest
Tottenham Hotspur
Aston Villa
Darlington (finally emerged as the leading team in the NE, after all the alleged corruption and whoring by the management of the other teams, excluding Gateshead)
Thames Valley (formerly Reading)
Manchester City
Everton
Southampton
Dublin City Franchise (19)
--------------------------------
Belfast United Franchise
Abertaffy (formerly Cardiff) (21)

Better add Wolves to the list. They have won most domestic competitions. Not the Premier League (current format) though.

A history lesson milord.

The Football League was originally set up as a north western and midlands league of professional clubs. In the south, the Southern League was the major league and composed mainly of amateur and old boy public school XIs (professionaluism very frowned upon at the time).

I would restructure the whole format, creating a "GBPL". This would consist of 32 franchises, split into two conferences, with each conference split into 4 divisions of 4. There would be a play-off system, culminating in the "FLAIRBOWL" to crown the champions.

GBPL South

GBPLS- London
1. London Red Sox
2. London BlueJays
3. Greater London Royals
4..East Anglia Cousin Fuckers

GBPLS- Midlands
1. Birmingham Second City Warriors
2. Birmingham Industrials
3. Athletico Nottingham
4. MK Dons

GBPLS- West
1. West Country FC
2. Swansea Dragons
3. Cardiff Dragons
4. Reading Thundercats

GBPLS- South
1. Brighton Mega Seagulls
2. Portsmouth Tax Dodgers
3. Bournemouth Galaxy
4. Southampton Titans

GBPL North

GBPLN- Celtic
1 Glasgow Rebels
2 Edinburgh Thistles
3 Glasgow United
4 Belfast

GBPL- North West
1 Birkenhead Inferno
2 Merseyside Thieves
3 Real Greater Manchester
4 Manchester Red Devils

GBPL- North East
1 Teesside Transporters
2 Tyneside Geordies
3 West Yorkshire White Tigers
4 Sheffield Steelers

GBPL- Midlands
1 Stoke Potters
2 Coventry Two-Tones
3 Leicester Wizards
4 Hull Hurricanes
