What's your budget?

I live just off the Kings road and it's great, there's possibly not better place to live in London than Chelsea or parts of fulham/Kensington, not cheap though.

I think Greenwich/Woolwich area would be worth looking at if you're after value for money as the transport links are improving all the time and it's close to everything, certain parts of Greenwich are great.

the last undeveloped central london area, lived there for the past 3 years, close to westminister and all central mainline stations, must admit i really like living there, and the fact that house prices here will double
