2 games does'nt = greatness, I'm still giving him until Xmas to prove his worth.

Can't do more than hit the ground running which he has done

Yeah, I think we need to see him after a few more games to make real judgement, remember, we are playing a poor League 2 team tonight.

The poor team we beat on saturday are 2-0 up against Barnsley

Fair play to him. I don't think anyone was expecting him to play midfield though.

I for one was worried he would be in central defence above Lynch, Elphick or Hawkins. I stand by that.

Definite threat at set pieces though.

if he turns out to be capable in centre midfield (which it seems he is doing very well so far) we have a very f***ing good squad with cover all over the park

I was, it was the only way he'd get in the team on a regular basis,

At no stage did I expect him to agree to come back here as a bench warmer

I admit I was one of the Virgo knockers. I still stand by opinion that he is not a central midfielder, and looks out of place there.

He has taken his goals well, and fair play to him. I think he looked better and more comfortable at right back today.

I love his commitment, and have never doubted it, but a central midfielder he is, though todays performance there was better than Crewe. But there is the argument that Barnet was shocking
