Tucked away on another thread is some talk as to how to eat fried eggs, which got very Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, very quickly.

So what's your one thing that has to be done in a certain way?.

If I wasn't so lazy I would most definately be the looney of the village, that went around cutting grass verges, so they were all nice and straight, to the pavement.

I love doing our lawn, the paving slabs etc, then going upstairs to admire my work from the bathroom window, but as I said luckily I'm too lazy to get all OCD about it.

everything has to be symetrical and any measurement must be even numbers (Thermostat, Speed etc...)

It does wind my GF up a bit but she is slowly getting used to it

Probhably the only thing I get even vaguely OCD about is the dishwasher and where things go therein.

Got a few:

Volume on an even number or as a multiple of 5.
Alarm clock mins set to a multiple of 10.
DVD collection in sections (Films, TV shows, Stand up Comedy, Music DVDs etc) and Alphabetised.

Weirdest one:

I PREFER to have an even amount of toast. 2 or 4 slices please, even when I'm not hungry enough for 4 but too hungry for 2. Ridiculous.

All a bit weird as I'm not a particularly neat or pedantic person.

I am a perfectionist in some work related things (so probably OCD) but have a very untidy desk, and accumulate piles of papers which I will probably never look through, unless I have lost something.

Before I shave I am continually dunking and wringing my flannel. This can go on quite a while until somehow I know the flannel is ready to use. Drives the wife wild.

Being Lazy definately helps.
I just remembered, I was banging on for ages about colour co-ordinating our racks of CD's, but never did anything about it.
One day I came home from work and Wifey was getting all titsy about the multi-coloured CD spines, as she'd got so feed up with me bibbling on, she did it herself.

I think I'm OCD by proxy.

Agree totally, it's just common sense.

Others:

Only getting up when the clock shows a time ending with a zero or five

Not having any of the lining showing in the middle when drawing the curtains

So, it appears that ALL men are a bit OCD, its just whereabouts on the scale we are.

I have thought this for a while.
