They'd sold out of chicken balti pies last night at Fratton Park so I had to make do with a Cornish pasty which was tasty and well cooked but it was like giving a starving dog a rubber bone. Nice looking girls serving though.

I've gone for steak and ale but thought it could do with a bit more gravy and a bit less of whatever the dominant herb was (rosemary?).

Had the Chicken and Ham last night for the first time and preferred it HOWEVER the pies are a little bit dry and could do with a little more gravy.

I've now tried the steak & ale pie and chicken & ham (at separate games I must add!) and found c&h nice and filling but s&a had more gravy. I've become a pie convert.
