The "Centenary kit" came out in 2000, hence the name!

It was for the club's Centenary (1901-2001), hence the name...for the 2001/02 season I think it was.

I visited a very poor part of mexico a few years back and before my very eyes a huge bandito on a pushbike appeard b4 me wearing this lovely edition of our coveted shirt designer wear,not knowing one iota of Mexicanna i had to let the moment slip by,and will never know the story of how he came to own it. Paleeese dont say on line ,and ruin my fantasy that he won it in a fight to the death with a gringo.

That particular beauty is a Johnny Crumplin worn item, I was going to take it over to Redhill to get him to sign it for me, however the game was called off due to waterlogged pitch, will hae to wait till we have a free weekend again.

sorry those who want a picture but none probably exist,the actual shirt only got a few outings mid 70's,someone might possibly have the green and black silk scarf it spawned but that is as near as you will get.

if the club ever get the balls to stock it,and make it in the right shades with the right finish, this will become the biggest selling away shirt EVER.

the last poll on the green and black was rigged.as many have pointed out the club staff were allready wearing the plum coloured fiasco.

sorry bob, but during the uddersfield game i adopted my usual post,STANDING all game in the back row of G block. i know it was a piss poor performance on the pitch,but the hi-viz had no disabled to take the piss(or leg pull)out of and so they were not really within my compass all game

The club uses a firm that specialises in making replica "old" shirts, that's where the fake Bukta, B Cal etc shirts come from. You should have a chat with the guy in the shop, he deals with them, see if there is any interest.
