Since you speak with authority, you have either
a) undressed Mr Dixon last night
b) sold him the offending article of clothing
c) own one of THOSE little numbers yourself
d)Have the use of your eyes

I'd go for d.

So who is RIGHT?

Me [Holdsworth], Hiney [Gately] or Brett [Reeves]?

I reckon, being an expert on such things, that Keanu Reeves is the closest lookalike.

I can't honestly say that I would wear it, but on a day when it is brass monkeys outside he might just have a point.

If the picture had been taken outside, then he might, just MIGHT, have the tiniest point. But it wasn't.

Its HIDEOUS. End of.

I couldn't believe it when i saw it! It is beyond retro, as even in the 70s they wouldn't be seen dead in something like that. It does look like the jumper that either Starsky or Hutch is wearing when they climb out the swimming pool in the open sequence. But, even wet their jumper is better

Truly shocking, although saying that I have about as much style as Norman Wisdom on a bad day.

First we had Murray mint, now we have Fishermans friend. With Revell going I think it proves Dick likes a good suck.

Do they make them on the Isle of Aaron?

They do. Each pattern has a story ie, the twists are cables which are like the cables on a ship, and the mesh patterns are like the fishing nets, so the person who described it as a fisherman's jumper is correct.
Yes, as a Gran, I have knitted Aran jumpers. They are very warm.
