The bus was in a collision with a taxi before crashing into the shop.

Clearly you don't remember the 3 day week in 1973 or the winter of discontent in 1978/9. Situations when certain union leaders decided they wanted to determine who ran the country and how it was run rather than allowing the electorate to decide.
