It's 130470.

You do the multiplications first and then the addition and subraction.

The brackets would only make a difference if they enclosed a + or - sign. And I should know, I did it at A Level. This is one of the first times I have used my Maths A Level since.

4 x (7 x 3) = 4(7 x 3)

To get 2741550 the sum would have to be

(132 X (23 X 43) + 6 - 4) X (7 X3)

This is the bit that a lot of people are getting wrong.

You've subtracted 4, then muliplied the total by 21.

But you should be subtracting (4 x 21) = 84.


You must always do mulitplications before additions and subtractions.
