35,000 February 18th 1967 v Chelsea in the 4th Round of the FA cup (Also skipped school to go to the replay. That was a big crowd too not sure how many though) plus several of the 70s games. Didn't manage to get into the Div 2 game V spurs. Was that 32K? got turned away about 10 from the front :(

Not a home game but for me it was the Millennium stadium in 2004, As a '89 baby I got tail end of Goldstone, Withdean and now the Amex so in all honesty my highest home gate is 21,897 v Liverpool this seasons cup.

Just found the details on Statto.
FA Cup 4th Round 18th Feb, 1967
Brighton 1 Chelsea 1
Don't know what the crowd was but it was capacity and I seem to remember that was rated at 35,000 at that time.

Ay ay ay ay,
Bonetti is better than Yashin,
Hollins is Better than eusebio,
And brighton are in for a thrashing.

But they didn't, until te replaay, which they won 4-0

Was in all the 30,000+ Goldstone crowds in the late 70's.

Was also at Spurs for the div 2 game with a 48,000+ crowd

Yes I was 13 and in the North Stand for this one, what a night.
My Dad let me off school so that we could go to the replay as well.
We went on a coach run by The Rev and his brother and there were about 65 on a 52 seater, bodies and cases of beer all up the aisle, what a journey !
